Since I was a child, I felt a special curiosity for everything that surrounded me. The shapes, the textures, the colors, the small differences that others didn't seem to see. I observed a lot. Looking closely was my way of understanding the world. Over time I discovered that it was also my way of creating.
Jewelry arrived as a way to bring that perspective to my hands. To turn an idea into matter, an intuition into form, and something I still didn't know how to name into a piece that could exist. And there I found my place.
Today I create jewelry because it is my way of exploring what interests me: who we are, how we change, what unites us, what differentiates us, and what we choose to make our own.
I'm not interested in creating perfect pieces. I'm interested in creating pieces that have something to say.
MY WAY OF CREATING
BETWEEN IDEA AND MATTER
Each piece begins before touching the metal. Sometimes it is born from a shape. From a texture. From a stone. From a conversation. From something that awakens my curiosity and I still don't know exactly what it will become. Then the process begins.
I draw, test, transform, disassemble, and start again. I work with metals and stones, but also with intuition, chance, and everything that appears while an idea finds its form.
That's why the process is not just the path to the piece. It is also part of it. To create, for me, is to discover.

Identity is not immobile. We change our perspective, desires, and way of relating to the world. And our jewelry can also accompany that movement.
I am interested in creating pieces that do not have to represent a single version of ourselves. Jewelry that can acquire new meanings, accompany different moments, and gradually become part of our history.
Because a jewel is not just worn. It also transforms with the person who wears it.

I am Lola Pomar, jeweler and creator. I work from Barcelona and have been dedicated to jewelry design and creation for years.
Lola Pomar is the project that brings together my way of understanding jewelry today: unique pieces, small collections, experimentation, and projects created together with the people who will wear them.
I don't want to separate the person I am from what I do. That's why this is also a personal brand.
